The Fab-Four

Once upon a time there were 4 fabulous girls who became friends... They laughed and chatted and laughed some more....
They even went on trips together (thus this picture was taken after a riding in a bus for 12 hours together...very lovely)
Than graduation came and they all went their own separate ways...
(However, there was always time for food!)
As they all moved out on their own they still managed to get together for retreats...
parties...
par-tays....
.... and of course food!
Than one day Denise decided to go on a mission to Austrailia....
The Fab-Four turned into the...
Three musketeers....
Than Jess left on her mission to England- leaving behind...
The dynamic duo...
Summer meanwhile peaced out to Argentina...
Leaving me pretty much on my own to graduate BYU-Idaho and the University of Utah....
22 months after the Fab Four split up
Denise came home!!
than along came Jessica...
and lastly Summer!
Finally the Fabulous Foursome united!!

to market, to market

We all got excited when we found out that we were going to the market one evening after working at the school. We all got ready and piled into the vans (which definitely took time) so... we got to the market and it looked like this...
Isn't it a sweet set up? I love the mountain in the distance!
However it wasn't the kind of market we were hoping for (we all were wanting to get some souvenirs which we couldn't find. It was the kind of market that all of the locals go to to get everything from food (all kinds of meat, fruits and vegetables) to clothes to dishes to pirated DVD's (which don't work by the way).
It was off of main street. Everyone there drives scooters... there were lines and lines of them there!
Around the time we were supposed to leave I was talking to a guy in our group when this crazy guy started yelling and screaming holding a gun, (I couldn't see the gun and could tell the guy wasn't all there so I was trying not to stare), Japan our tour guide told ran over and told the guy to get away and Matt calmly told me the gun was a fake... scary!
